The Basics
What Is a ProCharger
Short version: it's a centrifugal supercharger. A belt off your crankshaft spins an impeller, that impeller pumps air, and that air goes through an intercooler before it hits your engine. More air, more fuel, more power. We've been bolting these onto domestic V8s for decades and they hold up.
Compared to a Roots or twin-screw blower sitting on top of the intake, a ProCharger lives up front of the engine and runs much cooler air. That matters for power, and it matters for how the car behaves on a hot July afternoon in Calgary traffic.

How a ProCharger Works
Belt off the crank
We mount the head unit up front and run a dedicated belt to it. Same idea as your A/C compressor, just spinning a lot faster.
Spin, compress, intercool
The impeller spins up and shoves air through an air-to-air intercooler before it ever sees the intake.
Cool air into the engine
Cool, dense air hits the cylinders. That's the boost — and that's the power.
Power to the wheels
The engine takes that extra air, adds fuel, and makes more torque and horsepower. Same block, same internals — just working harder.
That's the whole trick. Belt, impeller, intercooler, intake. Everything else is making sure it fits your car properly and the tune is dialed in — which is the part we handle in our shop.
